ABOUT JANE GAMBLE
A dedicated HE leader, with a commitment to research, knowledge exchange and innovation. Fascinated by the impact of globalisation and cross-cultural communication in a business context. I have worked at Solent University as Course Leader, and Level Leader in the Business and Law department, focussing on cross-cultural management, international relations and sustainability. I am currently working on my Phd thesis, which is on Cross-cultural communication. I have an M.A. Hons degree in Social and Political Sciences from Selwyn College, Cambridge University. I also hold a DELTA - Diploma in English Language Teaching to Adults (Cambridge University). I have worked as Director of Studies at language schools and run my own business offering English courses and teacher training. I am a Member of the Chartered Institute of Linguists and a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. I also hold appointments as an External Examiner at Bangor, Bedfordshire and Majan Universities. Proud to be working as partnerships link tutor with BCAS University in Colombo, Sri Lanka and with QAHE in London, Birmingham and Manchester.
