My career journey began in the service industry, where I learned that people are the heartbeat of every business. Whether behind the bar, serving tables, or training new team members, I discovered the power of connection, empathy, and problem-solving in creating positive experiences. I quickly realized that when people feel supported and valued, both individuals and businesses succeed; that’s where I fell in love with Human Resources.Today, I bring that same passion for people to the field of HR. I hold both a BSBA and an MSIRHR from West Virginia University, and I recently completed the Human Resources Leadership Program internship with GE Aerospace. There, I designed an M&A Integration Leader Playbook, created job leveling frameworks, led an intern team on AI in HR, and built processes that align people strategy with business outcomes.I also strengthened my development and coaching skills as a Graduate Assistant in Employer & Alumni Relations, supporting students through resume reviews, mock interviews, and career coaching while enhancing career services reporting strategy.I approach HR with the mindset I first built in the service industry- People come first- Listening creates better solutions- Empowered employees drive business success.My areas of interest include- Field/Manufacturing HR- Talent Acquisition/Development- Change Management & M&A IntegrationI am excited to bring a people-first approach and business-minded perspective to my next opportunity in Human Resources.
