Jane is currently studying a PhD in veterinary legislative history. She is a CHASE funded scholar and is working as a DTP with RCVS Knowledge. Professionalising Animal Medicine – the history of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons and the Veterinary Surgeons Act 1881. This thesis has required research into agriculture, social history, medical history and legislation. Jane has written blogs for the RCVS, CHASE and The Veterinary Times charting her progress. Jane was excited to work as an intern on Horrible Histories TV programme.She has presented her work at CHASE events, University of Kent events and the World Association for the History of Veterinary Medicine. She is available as a guest lecturer on veterinary history and educational development.
