About 65% of graduate students at Georgia Tech are internationals, and I teach them how to write and present themselves at conferences and in interviews. Most of my students were working on their doctorates, so they were writing journal and conference papers, proposals, and dissertations and presenting at conferences. It was an absolutely wonderful job because I had the opportunity to work with brilliant, motivated people in engineering, the sciences, management, and architecture. I loved my job and miss my students! Even though I still work part-time editing, I DO love retirement.
