Jane Caborn is a Senior Business Manager at Cavendish Nuclear where she provides waste characterisation and management consultancy to ensure technical delivery of projects, business growth and capability development. She is a highly experienced PhD radiochemist with extensive experience in the environmental and nuclear industry and trained to a high proficiency in a wide range of radiometric and analytical techniques; providing technical expertise for the sampling and analysis, characterisation, waste fingerprinting and data interpretation. Jane provides technical consultancy for the assessment of all aspects of the waste lifecycle to ensure the compliant management and disposal of waste through the adoption of proportionate solutions. Jane has extensive experience of assessing new treatment technologies and has been involved in several projects associated with investigating the behaviour, characterisation and decontamination of radionuclides.
