About Jennifer Nash
Most leadership teams have a vision of where they want to go. Where things break down is translating that vision into something that works in practice, whether the challenge is unclear priorities, misaligned direction, or systems that can’t support execution. That’s where I come in. I’m brought in when direction is unclear or when systems don’t exist or aren’t working, thus endangering progress. As part of the leadership team, I define priorities and direction, then build the systems to execute. My work starts in one of two places: building from the ground up or stabilizing and redesigning existing operations. In both cases, I clarify priorities and direction, then build the systems to support execution and growth. In one role, I joined an ACGME-accredited residency program at risk of non-compliance, where I received no onboarding or a clear starting point. So, I assessed the program against accreditation requirements and identified key gaps. I focused first on improving communication. Doing so would have the greatest overall impact, and communication is the root of many issues. From there, I rebuilt documentation, introduced SOPs, and restructured workflows. That improved efficiency by 50% and stakeholder satisfaction by 60% and brought the program back into compliance. Across roles, my approach is consistent: focus on what matters most, address the highest-impact gaps first, and build in a way that holds up over time. My edge is identifying what’s needed, whether clarifying direction, realigning priorities, simplifying, or rebuilding, and addressing it in the right order so systems support execution and growth. I’m looking for a role where I can do this as part of the leadership team of a purpose-driven small to mid-size organization or startup, particularly in healthcare, sustainability, or clean and distributed energy.
