My responsibilities included:Assisting in employee recruitment by screening applications and shortlisting candidates for shop floor roles.Supporting onboarding activities by verifying and filing essential documents for new hires.Maintaining and organizing employee records to ensure compliance and easy retrieval.Observing the operational structure across multiple departments and shift patterns, providing insight into workforce distribution and HR planning.Collaborating with the HR team to understand key practices in industrial relations, workforce management, and compliance.This internship enhanced my understanding of real-world HR practices in a manufacturing setup and laid the foundation for applying HR analytics in future projects.
