About Janani Swaminathan
Janani is a hardware developer with 14 years of industry experience. She has an undergraduate degree in Electrical and Electronics (ECE) from Madras Institute of Technology (MIT), Anna University, and a graduate degree with a Major in Electrical and Computer Engineering and a Minor in Computer and Information Science from the University of Florida. She has worked on Server IO, Server memory subsystem and storage in Scale out servers. She is presently managing the Post Silicon Server Memory Development team at IBM India. She holds multiple patents and publications around nonvolatile memory technologies and Solid-state drive technology. Her current focus area is around performance of tiered memories in Servers. On the non-technical side, she is passionate about Diversity and Inclusion in the workplace and strive to participate in and contribute to initiatives around D&I.
