About Janan B.
As a senior at Penn State graduating in just three years, I am earning degrees in both public relations and international studies. My leadership and work experience spans across both agency and in-house communications work, with practice in pitch and news writing, editing, event planning, social media content creation and brand management. In and out of academics, I am a spirited individual who loves learning about and growing from the world around her. I constantly strive to find more universal and meaningful ways to communicate with others and am passionate about ideation and creation that connects people. I am especially interested in pursuing opportunities in the public affairs, travel and entertainment industries.

As a marketing and communications intern for Teaching and Learning with Technology as part of Penn State Libraries, I completed article editing, publishing and social media writing to boost engagement on TLT\'s media platforms. Following TLT\'s website re-launch, I rebranded and updated TLT\'s resource documents and sent timely department-wide service announcements. I also work with ID2ID, an international instructional designer community, to interview community members and write Penn State News articles highlighting their contributions to academia. Presenting these tasks and their results at all-staff meetings of 35+ members allows me to network with more seasoned staff-members, gain valuable advice and learn more about TLT.
