About Janae Miller
I am a dedicated professional with extensive experience engaging the public through community-based service organizations. My work has focused on increasing membership and participation, delivering impactful presentations on diverse topics, and supporting advocates and professionals from a wide range of backgrounds—particularly individuals with disabilities and their allies. My commitment to inclusion and accessibility is reflected in my work with Harmony Project Columbus, where I contributed to their community arts program. During my apprenticeship with the State of Ohio Department of Administrative Services, I provided guidance on creating accessible documents, managed high-volume data in Excel, and handled outreach to certified businesses within the State’s Minority Business Enterprise, Veteran Business Enterprise, Women-Owned Business Enterprise, and EDGE programs.Currently, I serve on the Board of Directors for Greenleaf Job Training Services and the American Council of the Blind of Ohio. I am also President of the Columbus Chapter of the American Council of the Blind. I recently completed the LEND (Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and Related Disabilities) training program at The Ohio State University Nisonger Center, which strengthened my leadership skills and deepened my commitment to promoting equitable access to opportunities and technology in our communities.I have strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills that support my ability to lead trainings and public speaking engagements. I have advocated before government agencies, coalitions, and public forums to raise awareness about tools and resources often inaccessible to people with disabilities.I am known for my attention to detail, organization, and reliability. I bring enthusiasm, professionalism, and a team-oriented spirit to every task. More than just an employee, I strive to be a collaborative partner who adds lasting value and is eager to grow within your organization.
