ABOUT JANA ROCK
Jana is an architect and graphic designer with over 20 years’ experience across the hospitality and logistics sectors. Currently based in Make’s London studio, she previously spent 11 years in the China and Hong Kong studios. Throughout her career she has been granted several scholarships, including a DAAD award to study a Master\'s degree in London and a Work & Travel grant to Japan, where she gained work experience at Kengu Kuma & Associates. Recently, she completed a Diploma in Plant-Based Cuisine from Le Cordon Bleu London. Jana is currently working on a 330 apartment mixed-use scheme in London as well as several hospitality projects. She is also a key member of Make\'s logistics sector developing the Cargopod: a sustainable structure promoting cycling for logistics business and the public alike.While in Asia, Jana oversaw the design and construction of The Temple House hotel in Chengdu, part of the 11-hectare Sino-Ocean Taikoo Li masterplan. In the same masterplan, she completed a bespoke office fit-out in the Pinnacle One tower, also designed by Make. In Hong Kong, she led the makeover of the public areas of Ovolo Central, which included a new facade to the lower ground, ground and first floors and an interior refurbishment.Jana speaks German, English, Spanish and Mandarin.
