We are in the business of bringing business to local businesses. We & Co’s success depends on how successful we make our members’ bottom lines. Essentially, we match-make organizations and professionals with their ideal referral partners in small (5-10 person) groups. I call these mini co-ops power pods of referral partners, or “Huddles” for short. I was an avid professional networker for years. I made my way through several groups, both locally and internationally, until the pandemic hit. Weeks upon weeks passed while I was cooped up at home, watching my business come to a halt, and having to navigate the tricky world of 7th-grade math. It wasn’t pretty. That’s when an idea hit me: while I love being in large groups of professionals, spending two hours a week in a group where I may or may not get a referral wasn’t a smart way to spend my time. In fact, out of a room of about 50 professionals, there were only 5-10 people who could refer to me regularly and vice versa. If I felt this way, certainly other people did too. Hence, the “Huddle” was born. I love putting professionals from specific industries in synergistic packs where they grow professionally and organizationally. We have “Huddles” showcasing industries such as realty, weddings, business-to-business, financial, automotive, pet services, health & wellness, real estate, agricultural/rural, residential/commercial construction, marketing and so on. We are even working on a trucking “Huddle” as we speak. The best part about all of this is that it is trackable. We created our own unique platform that tracks attendance & referrals in each “Huddle.” This has been eye-opening because we can see which “Huddles” are performing well and which “Huddles” need a little TLC. The ones needing some extra attention get some hands-on education from our Ambassadors or from yours truly. It has been a journey. Whether a business wants their “Huddle” to be conducted over zoom or in a small conference room, we can and do make it happen. In short, we live, love, and grow local businesses - let\'s grow together!
