Based at the Munk School of Global Affairs and Public Policy at the University of Toronto (U of T), the Local Government Revenue Initiative (LoGRI) is developing policy-relevant research and tools to help local governments in sub-Saharan Africa and South Asia collect more local revenue, more equitably and fairly, and in ways that promote trust, transparency and accountability. LoGRI is an initiative of the International Centre for Tax and Development (ICTD), a leading global policy research network dedicated to improving the quality of tax policy and administration in lower-income countries.As a Program Assistant, I am responsible for- Assisting and supporting program staff, notably the program director and thecommunications officer- Drafting invitations, background notes, presentations, contracts, and other writtenmaterial to support program activities, including relevant translations to French- Supporting with projects with data visualizations, graphics, as needed- Liaising and coordinating with relevant actors both internally and externally- Assisting in the management and organization of meetings and events, both virtual andin person, including research field trips- Assisting in managing social media accounts and updating LoGRI\'s database. This includes drafting blogs, social media posts, and other content in English and French- Assisting with document management and general work organization
