I serve over undergraduate students by leading the AMS Executive Team, representing student interests at the institutional and provincial levels, and overseeing a $20M+ student-run organization composed of services, commissions, and offices.Oversee AMS governance and internal policy, ensuring long-term organizational stability, equity, and accountability.Lead strategic direction and campus-wide advocacy, centering student voice in decision-making and institutional change.Manage the AMS’s transition into the revitalized John Deutsh University Centre (JDUC), while also overseeing operations of three major student life buildings: the JDUC, Queen’s Centre (QC), and MacCorry (MC).Supervise the Orientation Roundtable (ORT), which plans and delivers Orientation Week programming that welcomes over 5,500 new students annually.Present quarterly reports to the Queen’s University Board of Trustees on behalf of the undergraduate student body.Serve on the University Senate as the official undergraduate representative, ensuring student voices are embedded in academic governance.Oversee AMS Assembly and serve on the Board of Directors, implementing reforms to enhance transparency, accessibility, and engagement.Advance and oversee the AMS Strategic Marketing & Communications Plan to strengthen outreach, branding, and organizational storytelling.Provide executive-level support to the AMS Information Technology and Human Resources Offices, ensuring operational efficiency and innovation.
