ABOUT JAN SINGLETON
Jan has worked in PR and corporate communications for over 20 years and has worked for some of the UK\'s biggest agencies, as well as in-house for a variety of organisations with complex communications challenges. Over this time, Jan has built up a broad range of experience from pro-active consumer campaign development to specialist crisis and issues management, working across corporate, consumer, financial and B2B clients which include brands such as Heathrow, Vauxhall, Shell, BP, Cadburys, BDO Stoy Hayward, Virgin Money, Masterfoods, Panadol, Magnet and MFI. In her in-house roles, Jan led the media teams at the public sector organisations The National Endowment for Science, Technology and the Arts (focused on driving UK innovation) and Sport England, and worked on Heathrow airport’s busy news desk, working on the high profile campaign for expansion and developing media strategies for issues including snow events and noise. In 2014, Jan set up her own consultancy, Singleton London, offering a range of services including corporate communications strategy development, media training, crisis and issues management, message development and campaign planning and delivery. During this time she has worked with numerous clients in a wide range of sectors including renewable energy, property, engineering, sport, technology innovation and rural affairs.
