ABOUT JAN JOHANSSON
Some people have a career arc. I have a lot of questions. My host mom in the US taught me floristry. The way a room shifts when something living enters it - that sticked.I studied architecture looking for a more precise language; for what a space needs to serve the person inside it. Not aesthetically. For identity. Values. The right tools for the right moment. Eighteen years in retail design, eleven brands, hundreds of rooms later: the answer was never in the architecture. It was always in the person testing it.So I went back to school. Clinical psychology. I kept myself open as long as I could before deciding which direction. Enjoyed exploring. Children and adolescents hit me late, but stayed. They tend to know what they need - if someone bothers to ask.Florist. Architect. On my way to becoming a psychotherapist. The thread isn’t obvious. That’s fine.
