   Manage all day-to-day HR functions, including Recruitment, Compensation, Training and Development and Employee Relations for the Retail, Corrections, West and Midwest Regions and Corporate. Responsible for 1650+ associates across 16 states. Worked with VP of HR to bring the first Employee Engagement survey to Vistar with a 79% participation rate first year. This was adopted across the enterprise and the second year saw an increase in participation to 86%. Created a 3-year “Elevate” HR Strategy that included an immediate focus on elevating the HR Talent and Capability resulting in 75% of HR team upgraded within 18 months and training plans in place for others to grow their HR skills. Developed Succession Planning Toolkit to assist leaders in identifying high performers resulting in multiple promotions and creation of a bench of key players. Partnered with key leaders in Procurement, Sales and Operations to research and identify market pay inequities which resulted in a review of all department salary processes and aligning the team with competitive market salaries. Manage employee relations including investigations and liaison with Legal. Created a Contingency Planning strategy for potential Work Stoppage activities at Union facilities.
