My role encompasses the wider remit of communications within the Association, working directly for the Chief Executive. I am responsible for internal and external communications, digital marketing & media, social media, event management and the management of all promotional literature, ensuring that it is all delivered within the annual communications budget. Working closely with a wide range and diverse range of stakeholders, including local authorities, business, education and health as well as the military community and the cadet organisations, inducing those in the Royal Navy, Royal Marines, Army and Royal Air Force. I ensure there is provision of an effective interface between the military and the wider community and the first point of contact for the tri-service consultations regarding the co-ordination of an effective programme of Community Engagements throughout the year. I manage the external agencies relating to all Communications activity.
