About Jeffrey Mosser
At the crossroads of teaching, mentoring, and storytelling, I nurture the unfolding of each person’s unique creative journey. My work centers on accompanying others as they shape their own paths—where learning meets artistry and mentorship becomes a shared act of creation. I listen, guide, and connect people to the relationships and structures that allow their ideas to thrive. I am a partnership-driven nonprofit leader with more than twenty years of experience cultivating collaborations among stakeholders, artists, educators, and foundations in support of mission-driven organizations. Through leadership roles with Milwaukee Repertory Theater, Berklee College of Music, and Actors Theatre of Louisville, I have developed programs and partnerships that amplify organizational vision while centering human growth and creative possibility. Specializing in program management, strategic partnerships, and organizational leadership, I integrate artistic values with sustainable business practices to help individuals and teams realize ambitious goals. I have guided high-performing teams of more than 50 staff and vendors while stewarding budgets exceeding $4.5M and advancing equity-focused initiatives, including neighborhood-based social justice programming and record-breaking United Way fundraising efforts. I hold a Master of Fine Arts in Theatre Directing from Northwestern University. My artistic and scholarly work has been recognized through multiple research grants and a Best Director of a Musical award. I remain actively engaged in community practice through volunteer leadership with Quasimondo Physical Theatre and the Coalition on Lead Emergency program. Specialties: Organizational Leadership • Program Management • Grantmaking & Global Giving • Budgeting & Forecasting • Strategic Partnerships • Community Engagement • Governance Alignment • Project Management • Strategic Planning & Execution I believe that when people discover the artistry within their own journeys, organizations—and communities—grow stronger together.
