Hello, person on the internet.I\'m a first-generation Chinese-American art director and designer working out of Brooklyn, New York. I like to make things. Especially anything that involves layout, typography, and photography. You have my interest as long as I have an opportunity to learn and explore a new territory that drives curiosity.My creative pathway started early in high school when I split my time going to a trade school focused on architecture, construction, and engineering. I eventually stumbled my way into graphic design after spending several years in the concentration of architecture. My approach to creative work places an emphasis on collaboration and experimentation to create distilled, meaningful pieces. I have worked for non-profits, at a startup, in nimble studio environments, and for an advertising behemoth.Brands I\'ve worked on have spanned many industries and categories in several phases of development, such as; Arc\'teryx, Coca-Cola, Facebook, Instagram, Nike, P&G, The North Face, Turbotax, amongst others.At the core — I appreciate craft, honesty, simplicity, and most importantly, for something to evoke an emotion. I value having a visual mindset where there\'s always meaning and intention behind it.
