About Jammal Lee
I’m a UX Researcher focused on helping enterprise teams unlock the value of AI while actively managing the risk that comes with automation, scale, and trust-sensitive decisions. In my current role, I lead research across e‑invoicing, customer onboarding, and AI-powered approval workflows, partnering with product, engineering, and data teams to inform decisions where accuracy, speed, and accountability must coexist. A core throughline of my work is AI Trust—understanding how users evaluate automated recommendations, when they feel confident handing off decisions, and when risk outweighs perceived value. My research helps teams:1. Identify where AI creates measurable value (efficiency, consistency, speed)2. Surface trust gaps and risk signals (over‑automation, ambiguity, lack of recovery paths)3. Design human‑in‑the‑loop approval workflows that balance automation with transparency, control, and explainabilityThis work has directly informed:1. E‑invoicing experiences that reduce onboarding friction while supporting regulatory and compliance requirements2. Customer onboarding journeys designed to build early confidence in complex enterprise systems3. AI approval workflows that clarify responsibility, mitigate risk, and help users understand why a system recommends an action—not just what it recommendsBeyond delivery, I serve as a mentor within my organization and the broader UX community, supporting researchers in building strong research judgment, stakeholder influence, and insight storytelling—especially in AI‑adjacent problem spaces.Previously, I conducted UX research at Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits, supporting B2B and eCommerce platforms at national scale. That experience sharpened my ability to synthesize complex user behavior, evaluate tradeoffs, and align research outcomes to business and operational goals.I believe strong research doesn’t just inform design—it helps organizations decide where automation is worth it, where caution is required, and how trust is earned over time. Open to conversations about AI trust, enterprise UX, approval systems, and research mentorship.
