Senior litigation executive and hands‑on trial and appellate litigator with enterprise responsibility for litigation risk at a Top‑15 U.S. bank.I design and execute national litigation strategy across complex consumer, commercial, regulatory, and employment portfolios—running litigation as a business while remaining personally engaged in the most consequential matters. I have built and scaled a high‑performing in‑house litigation function that internalized the majority of matters historically handled by outside counsel, delivering $6MM+ in savings while materially improving outcomes.I personally litigate and oversee high‑exposure cases, including class actions and bet‑the‑company disputes. I have led more than 60 matters, including nine class actions, achieving a 62% success rate through dismissals or judgments, with settlements averaging less than 1% of claimed damages. I also served as lead strategist on the Bank’s largest litigation exposure (>$4B claimed), directing trial and appellate strategy nationwide and securing final judgment following a decisive appellate reversal and denial of certiorari.I serve as the primary escalation point for high‑risk litigation and crisis matters, advising the General Counsel and senior leadership on strategy, risk tolerance, and resolution. My work regularly intersects with regulatory examinations and remediation efforts involving the CFPB, OCC, and Federal Reserve, as well as sensitive internal investigations.In addition to practice, I am an Adjunct Professor at Loyola University Chicago School of Law, where I teach Alternative Dispute Resolution, reflecting a longstanding commitment to mentorship, judgment, and principled advocacy.Outside of work, I am a husband and dad, a youth soccer coach, and a triathlete—and, like most people in Chicago, a loyal (and perpetually hopeful) Chicago sports fan.
