A proven leader motivated to build and support teamwork to achieve growth in sales, retail, market participation and customer satisfaction.A diverse background in multiple industries including pharmaceuticals, health science, technology and telecommunications combined with an MBA with marketing concentration, have helped her in developing marketing, project management, leadership, sales and operational skills. Her passion for marketing began with the launch of a new drug and innovative customer-focused marketing plan for Chantix as Sr. Product Manager at Pfizer, this project gave her the opportunity to lead the subject-matter expert development program for Latin-American as the Regional Champion. She was responsible of designing and executing strategic marketing plans, leading cross-functional team and providing support to sales and customer engagement team in all target channels.Jamila have been part of Verizon since August 2017 when she started as Solutions Specialist, graduated in 2019 from the ELDP (Emerging Leader Development Program) where she worked on the rural market LTE internet marketing plan. As a Solution Specialist she earned multiple recognitions for outstanding performance, as top phone adds in the retail channel nation wide and top SMB GA. She was promoted to Assistant Manager in 202, and currently she is the Store Manager at Parma, OH. Jamila is currently leading the Phone Growth strategies for the OWP06 district and supporting SOMOS Midwest Regional Cabinet as Communications Lead. She is also active promoter and participant in multiple local and regional volunteer activities. Outside of the business environment Jamila is a Taekwondo Black Belt. She enjoys the open water diving as PADI certified advanced scuba diver. Jamila was born in Venezuela, bilingual and from a very diverse cultural background she enjoys traveling and learning from the world that surrounds her.
