ABOUT JAMILA SINGLETON

I’m committed to building a future where all children and families, especially those pushed to the margins of our systems, can define their own paths. Rooted in my experience as a Black girl having grown up in the Pacific Northwest, I focus on addressing systemic inequities in education.Guided by my values of abundance, collaboration, and empowerment, I serve as a bridge-builder and equity practitioner—listening deeply, leading conversations, and guiding structural changes to shift power and expand opportunities. My leadership mobilizes cultural expertise, grows diverse leadership, and builds trust across communities, with an unwavering commitment to dismantling systems of oppression and uplifting EACH student and family.
