ABOUT JAMIL CHOUDORY
I’m a Security Analyst who’s genuinely passionate about keeping organisations safe in an increasingly complex digital world. After graduating from the University of Gloucestershire, I’ve built my career around solving security challenges and making a real difference in how threats are handled. At Meta, my current role, my main focus is on incident handling and remediation, working to identify vulnerabilities, address issues quickly, making the incident detections more efficient and strengthen the systems we all rely on. It’s rewarding work that allows me to play a part in protecting both the organisation and its users. Before joining Meta, I worked as a Cybersecurity Analyst for an MSSP, where I gained invaluable experience with threat hunting, incident handling and managing customer-facing tickets, including handling ransomware breaches. Those earlier experiences taught me the importance of staying calm under pressure, thinking critically, and collaborating with others to resolve complex problems. What I love most about cybersecurity is that it’s always evolving. There’s always something new to learn, a different challenge to tackle, or a new way to approach a problem. I’m constantly motivated by the chance to make the digital world safer for everyone. I’d love to connect with others in the industry, whether it’s to share insights, collaborate, or just chat about the latest trends in cybersecurity.
