ABOUT JAMIE WESTGARTH

An adaptable, confident and highly motivated individual, keen to progress within the subsea industry\". After qualifying as a HSE Air Diver in January 2015 I predominately worked in the UK sector until 2019 where I began to branch out into Europe and in particular The Netherlands. In 2021 I began to focus more on offshore working predominantly in the Dutch sector of the Northsea on a variety of IMR, constuction and decommissioning contracts.As a result of this I have had the pleasure to experience a wide variety of projects including; Oil & Gas, Renewables, Media, Potable & Sweage, Costal/Tidal, Marina\'s, Ports, Shipping, Tunnelling, Locks and Reservoirs and more. This variety has allowed me to become proficient in many of the skills required for diving. I have a proven track record with the majority of subsea tasks including but not limited to; wet welding, burning, inspection, SurDo² and chamber operations, the use of hydraulic and air tools, UXO detection, hydratight and mass concrete pours. Working in ‘civils’ has meant that I have also gained qualifications and experience in many diving related activities such as; rigging, slinging and banking, boat work, confined space ops, welding and cutting, plant ops, engineering principles and data recording/management. I have also developed the interpersonal skills required to operate safely in a fast paced, high risk, ever changing environment and pride my-self on my ability to communicate at any level. Buckinghamshire based, with easy access to London (30 mins) and its major airports. I am happy to travel nationally and internationally should the opportunity arise.
