About Jamie Tam
At the peak of quarantine with seemingly nothing to do, I decided to take a look into my closet and clean it out from top to bottom. I stared at the pile of old clothes I compiled on my bedroom floor and thought to myself,\"Why don\'t I try doing something with this?\" After deliberating with my need to put an end to my daily Animal Crossing duties along with the rest of the world, I eventually started a little account to sell my pre-loved clothing items. I would take a picture, post it, and wait. and wait. and wait until one person decided to take a chance on me and ended up becoming my very first customer. Little did I know, that day I would soon develop an indescribable passion for my newfound small business. Since then, I have been so lucky to have an outlet that allows me to express my creativity and cultivate my interest in sales & marketing within the digital space. Along with this venture, I was later chosen to join Adobe\'s Student Ambassador program where I further developed my love for creation and it really pushed me to progress my communication skills that I hadn\'t really put to work for 2 years.(thanks a lot, quarantine.) I\'m constantly being told \"take a break\" or \"you\'re working too much,\" but in reality, I don\'t see what I do as work that needs to get done or another chore to tick off my list. My desire and passion for creativity, building connections and cultivating relationships fuel my motivation to put my all into everything I do. I am currently looking to find an internship this summer that would encourage me to think differently and utilize media in new/innovative ways.
