As a Senior Data Integration Engineer, I enable scalable, secure, and reliable data exchange between Proximie’s Surgical Suite & Intelligence Suite and customer EHR systems, supporting clinical insights, workflow optimisation, and surgical performance improvement.Key Responsibilities & Highlights:• Design, implement, and maintain HL7 v2.x interfaces (ADT, ORU, ORM, etc.) to support real-time and batch integration with EHR systems such as Epic, Cerner, and Meditech.• Rapidly deploy file-based and HL7-based integrations to meet onboarding timelines and ensure seamless customer adoption.• Build and manage ETL pipelines (JavaScript, SQL) for transforming, validating, and reconciling clinical data from diverse sources.• Collaborate directly with hospital IT teams to define integration requirements, troubleshoot issues, and ensure successful deployments.• Perform in-depth data analysis and validation to ensure completeness, accuracy, and consistency across exchanged datasets.• Work cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Customer Success to align integration capabilities with platform goals and customer expectations.• Produce clear and comprehensive integration documentation, including data mappings, workflow diagrams, and technical specifications.• Support secure, standards-compliant data exchange, applying knowledge of FHIR, CDA/CCD, GDPR, HIPAA, and surgical workflow practices.• Contribute to the evolution of a scalable interoperability framework that accelerates clinical insight delivery and operational efficiency across global health systems.
