ABOUT JAMIE PETT

I work alongside teams and organisations to learn, adapt and share power as they navigate change.I support this through facilitation, learning partnerships and coaching, helping people reflect, make sense of complexity and experiment with new ways of working in real-world contexts. My work often focuses on governance, participation, leadership and organisational culture, particularly in situations where people are grappling with power, uncertainty or the limits of existing approaches. I’m especially interested in how learning can be used as a live practice rather than a retrospective activity.I approach this work with a commitment to practising anti-oppressive and feminist approaches, and to continuing to learn about how power and responsibility show up in the systems I’m part of.In practice, this can look like facilitating workshops, gatherings and retreats; acting as a learning partner alongside programmes or initiatives; or offering coaching to individuals navigating leadership, power and change. I tend to work collaboratively and relationally, often alongside other practitioners.Recent and ongoing work includes learning partnership with the Summerfield Community Chest, stewarding and facilitating within the Transformational Governance project, and collaborations with organisations such as Thirty Percy, Dark Matter Labs, Uplift, Huddlecraft, Curiosity Society, ODI and Brink.I’m available for one-off projects and ongoing partnerships, working primarily online, alongside in-person work in Devon and occasionally further afield. If you’re exploring change and want a thoughtful, relational partner to work alongside you, feel free to get in touch.
