About Jamie Nelson
I started with Zywave in 2015 and became a subject matter expert for our employee benefits content as a content attorney. Since then, I have grown along with Zywave and now am a Director for a team of 35+. The team includes managers, researchers, writers (of varied backgrounds), editors, risk managers, attorneys, HR professionals, wellness professionals, and more. These subject matter experts create the finest content in the insurtech space. We also have a successful Content Operations team in PHL. Immediately before Zywave I held both a sales management role in the retail-wellness industry and a benefits specialist role with the DWD-State of WI. PhilosophyUse AI as a tool to simplify the simple. When your daily tasks take minutes, you are untethered to produce highly technical or personal content that AI struggles with- this is the differentiator. The ability to see content as data points and take critical actions, opens up growth.
