ABOUT JAMIE MARSHALL
I lead an amazing HR team at Gartner in a role that provides me with the opportunity to support the incredible growth of Gartner\'s Mid-Size Enterprise Sales channel. My role is to deliver a people strategy that drives business results whilst creating an environment in which everyone can realise their full potential. I get my energy and excitement from partnering with individuals, teams and leadership to solve problems and drive positive change. Gartner is a company that keeps people at the very centre, which has provided me with a powerful platform to partner with a variety of sales leaders in my time with the company to grow a number of different sales channels. Whether it’s building and developing my team, designing people strategy or working on cross-functional projects, I’m passionate about building a diverse, equitable and inclusive environment. I find a real sense of purpose in helping people to find the right role at the right time, through the work I do at Gartner as well as the mentorships I have established outside of work. My 10 years of HR experience have provided me with the opportunity to work across a variety of countries and cultures, including a 2.5 year assignment at Gartner\'s US HQ in Stamford, Connecticut. I thrive in a results-driven, collaborative, fast-moving, diverse and inclusive environment. At Gartner I have been involved in our expansion into new markets as well as growing our presence in Europe, the Middle East, India, Africa, Russia and the Americas. In all of my roles I have become a trusted advisor and coach to the sales leaders I support, enabling me to drive positive impact across performance management, leadership development, change management, learning and development, resource planning and talent acquisition. When I’m not at work, you’ll find me trying a new Mexican recipe, hunting a PB on the Peloton, working on my swing at the golf course, or spending time outdoors with my wife and son.
