   NextGen Energy is a grid innovation and energy project development company advancing a national portfolio of HERO Hubs (Hubs for Energy Resilient Operations)- first-of-their-kind, distributed power infrastructure systems designed to enhance energy security, grid resilience, and carbon reduction.We originate, develop, and manage large-scale HERO Hub deployments from concept through commercialization, including project planning, capital structuring, permitting, and construction.Each HERO Hub integrates microgrids, distributed energy resources (DERs), and virtual power plants (VPPs) into a flexible, scalable model that can be replicated across U.S. regions to serve critical infrastructure, reduce peak demand, and meet the growing energy needs of advanced industries and climate-resilient communities.With foundational funding from the U.S. Department of Energy and co-investment from public and private partners, we operate as a platform developer and project sponsor, delivering long-term impact through decarbonized, distributed grid solutions tailored to state and regional priorities.
