About Jamie Flaxman

I am a real estate specialist with RSVP Real Estate serving King and Snohomish Counties. With 30+ years of experience in real estate sales, non-profit management, marketing, social work, customer service, and community development, I have the expertise you are looking for in a real estate broker. And I love what I do: nothing satisfies me more than seeing the smiles that come with a successful real estate transaction. I currently own a home in Edmonds, though I have lived in various Seattle neighborhoods since moving here in 1992. My first home was a condo in Magnolia, where I was active in my homeowner\'s association, including stints as treasurer and president. Since that time, I have also owned homes in the Meadowbrook, Queen Anne, and Phinney Ridge communities. I know the Puget Sound area inside and out, and community leadership and activism are important to me. I am involved with a number of community organizations, including FamilyWorks, Childrens Hospital, and the Central Area Senior Center. Prior to becoming a real estate broker, I worked in non-profit management at Wallingford Boys & Girls Club, the Women’s Funding Alliance, Seattle Youth Involvement Network, Hilltop Children\'s Center, and Big Sisters of King County. I also worked as a consultant with several other non-profits focused on the well-being of children, families, and women in our community. I love exploring the region\'s many unique neighborhoods and cities, farmers markets, arts and crafts festivals, and cultural events. I am also an avid photographer, reader, beach lover, and traveler. The most incredible place I have ever traveled is the Galapagos Islands, which offers unparalleled natural beauty and wildlife. I am a Certified Residential Specialist, a member of the National Association of Realtors, Washington Realtors, and Seattle/King County Realtors, as well as the Northwest Multiple Listing Service.
