ABOUT JAMIE FIELD
I am an Associate Professor of Management at West Virginia University\'s John Chambers College of Business and Economics. I teach undergraduate and graduate courses in HR data analytics. In these courses my students develop data collection and statistical analysis skills that will allow them to engage in evidence-based practice during their careers. My research focuses on topics pertaining to organizational behavior (e.g, employee motivation), human research management (e.g, staffing), and organizational research methods (e.g, big data, meta-analysis, open science). I have published 13 peer-reviewed papers that have been published in outlets like Science, Nature: Human Behavior, Journal of International Business Studies, Journal of Applied Psychology, Personnel Psychology, and Journal of Business and Psychology.
