About Jamie Diep
I am a third year managerial economics major and accounting minor at UC Davis, planning to graduate early in Spring 2026. Through two years of accounting internships at Deloitte and my undergraduate education, I discovered my passion in accounting and data analysis. These topics allow me to consider real world issues through perspectives that I can take into everyday life. I have found that I enjoy the economic and financial analysis that transfer pricing entails, as I can focus on my technical accounting skills from the economic mindset that UC Davis has cultivated within me. I have developed leadership and time management skills by juggling multiple clients and projects through my internship in transfer pricing. In this role, I expanded my ability to communicate, problem solve, and multitask, as I continuously had various deadlines and client work to consider.Within my time at UC Davis, I have taken on various leadership roles within business organizations, such as Davis Women in Business, as a Board Associate, or Consult your Community, as a lead consultant and engagement manager. From these experiences, I am confident in my leadership and my ability to bring out my team’s strengths through strong communication and problem solving. As a financial assistant at UC Davis’ C-STEM program, I use these newfound skills to ensure efficiency by handling over tens of schools’ needs, organizing conferences and meetings, and coordinating with my peers and employers. I am looking to continue to develop my accounting knowledge through full time roles, as I hope to learn about the different aspects of businesses and bring in new perspectives honed by my various experiences.
