ABOUT JAMIE DABNER

Jamie Dabner has extensive experience in Sustainability and Mechanical Engineering Consulting across Canada, including the GTA and Southern Ontario, Ottawa, Vancouver, and Kelowna. With a career spanning over two decades, Jamie has been instrumental in designing numerous low-carbon building typologies and has held LEED accreditation since 2002. As a Principal at Introba, Jamie plays a pivotal role in the Canadian Sustainability Leadership team, overseeing a comprehensive suite of sustainability services aimed at reducing whole-life carbon for buildings, masterplans, and portfolio projects. Jamie is also a published author and currently serves as a sessional lecturer at the University of Toronto\'s Daniels Faculty of Architecture.Jamie is part of Introba’s Prime Consulting team working to update the fifth version of the Toronto Green Standard v5 Policy. With expertise covering a wide range of sustainability and green building areas, Jamie has led teams on policy projects, sustainability master planning, zero carbon, passive house, living building challenge, well buildings, pre-fabrication, offshore islands, net zero, low energy, geo-exchange systems, design analytics, renewable energy systems, life cycle cost analysis, design-build, construction administration, and acting as a prime consultant.Among Jamie\'s notable achievements is the design of Ontario\'s largest Passive House multi-residential building for Windsor Essex Community Housing Corporation. Jamie is also the Principal in Charge for the TRCA headquarters, a CaGBC Zero Carbon Pilot Project, and one of Canada\'s greenest mass timber office buildings. Additionally, Jamie was the design lead on the UofT Mississauga Maanjiwe Nendamowinan post-secondary building. Jamie\'s projects have received several prestigious awards for outstanding contributions to sustainable design and engineering.
