I started training as a Directional Driller in 2008.When I advanced from MWD to DD; I was holding my own shift after only two months of training. I worked as a night DD for over a year and then started contract DD where I have performed as lead hand within the last few months. In my prior and current jobs I have experience in many aspects of the drilling rig including, but not limited to drilling, MWD, and DD. I worked on drilling for Coal Bed Methane for nine years, with a total of seventeen years in the oil and gas industry. I have fifteen years of experience with horizontal directional drilling. Additionally, I have experience with underbalanced drilling, which consisted of air and fluid as well as multi-lateral pinnate wells. I drilled open hole side tracks while drilling in coal bed methane field. I have experience with many different types of formations such as Berea, Cleveland Shale, Lower Huron Shale, New Albany Shale, Marcellus Shale, Sand and Lime Formations, Bakken, three forks.
