I am a passionate and driven leader who strives to deliver innovative and high-quality products that meet the needs and expectations of customers and stakeholders. I have a strong background in engineering, research and development, and cross-functional collaboration, and I enjoy working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment that challenges me to learn and grow. Although I ended up in a leadership role I have spent the lion\'s share of my career leading teams and developing disruptive technology products in several industries. In my most recent role as Director - Bike Project and Portfolio Management, I built and led a globally distributed team of project managers and people leaders to plan, execute, and monitor multiple bike projects across various categories, regions, and functions. I also established and managed the global bike portfolio management system and process, ensuring alignment of strategic objectives, resource allocation, and risk mitigation. Additionally, I served as a liaison and leader in various cross-functional workshops and continuous improvement projects, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence. Prior to this I have held engineering positions in manufacturing, led global design and development teams to launch new and novel products in the outdoor and automotive industries, and also led a core team of R&D engineers and developers working on novel textile technology platforms. My experience overall is wide and my ability to lead teams and work at all levels from the manufacturing floor to the C-Suite is exceptional. As a leader, I carry a continuous improvement mindset wherever I go, always looking for ways to gain efficiency and work smarter, not harder. My trust is given and not something that has to be earned because I know people do their best work when they feel safe and trusted. I encourage my direct reports and teammates to take risks and always support them if and when things go sideways. I believe that transparency is paramount for success and never stop providing constant and consistent feedback to my peers. I don\'t shy away from celebrating successes, and at the same time always step up to have the tough conversation to ensure things are clear and agreed upon. I am a firm believer that teams succeed and fail together and every teammate’s contribution, however small, is critical to achieving common goals and objectives.
