Currently I work in the strategic prototype procurement department in Jaguar Land Rover looking after my commodities engines and powertrains, where my objective is to negotiate strategic long term agreements on prototype parts and tooling ensuring JLR has vale for money and that suppliers do not exceed the maximum JLR standard multipliers, in the current economic climate it is imperative myself and my colleagues achieve value for money. Also ensuring JLR rates are met in Engineering Design and Testing (ED & T) and investigating and negotiation long term agreements with key suppliers for fix term rates. My role heavily involves cross functional collaboration and the ability to influence people and situations especially when prototype spend can be overlooked, self time management and the ability to manage multiple complex projects and stakeholders simultaneously
