The London Screen Academy is a new sixth form academy for 800 young film makers. The mission of the school is to diversify the screen industries and, ultimately, to create stories that change the world. The school was graded Outstanding by Ofsted in July 2023I lead on the development of effective teaching & learning through weekly training sessions and overseeing our whole school coaching model. The aim is to embed our vision for rigorous teaching & learning in a creative vocational context. I work with curriculum leads on project development and curriculum planning, and have taken a particular interest in defining the key knowledge, skills and behaviours necessary to thrive in the screen industries (see bottom for publications). Another area of interest has been using digital technology, such as virtual reality, as a learning tool.
