I’m Jamie Thomas, a Contract Director at Sodexo and a proud Fellow of the Institute of Workplace and Facilities Management (IWFM). I work in partnership with the Ministry of Justice to deliver integrated facilities management across more than 350 sites nationwide, holding full governance and operational accountability for a complex, high-impact portfolio that spans multiple service lines and a UK-wide footprint.I lead 25 managers and over 850 frontline colleagues—an extraordinary team whose expertise and commitment make success possible every day. Together, we ensure critical environments run safely, efficiently, and sustainably, balancing operational excellence with innovation and compliance.For me, facilities management isn’t about buildings—it’s about people. It’s about creating spaces that positively impact those who use them, shaping experiences that enable safety, dignity, and productivity.
