I enjoy working on global processes and making efficiencies for smooth day to day operations. My tenure as an internal auditor has given me the ability to pickup and learn a process (operational or financial), simplify it, and find the risk points regardless of the topic. I have a process flow mind, I know decisions need to include manual and systemic considerations as well as upstream and downstream effects, and I know teams work better if knowledge is shared. I was the first ESG Controller for DuPont and worked to define and create the pathway to join Finance with Sustainability Reporting. As the regulatory environment changes, this role ebbs and flows and I continue to help Controllership with Global projects as needed. Previously, I was the Global SOX Compliance Audit Manager working to plan, enact, and track global SOX compliance. My experience at Axalta was concentrated in global SOX implementation with a focus on the Corporate and North America regions. I also gained very insightful global experience while helping the other regions both directly and indirectly with their SOX efforts. My consulting experience with Protiviti was concentrated in the manufacturing and financial services industries in which I performed both SOX and regulatory compliance projects while also completing various internal audit projects among a spread of varying client types. I am CPA certified in Pennsylvania and proficient in Spanish.
