Public sector leader with deep experience in affordable housing, homelessness policy, and strategic communications. As an appointee to Denver Mayor Mike Johnston, I led key initiatives aimed at reducing homelessness, expanding housing access, and addressing some of the city’s most urgent challenges.Over the past two years, I helped drive a 48% reduction in unsheltered homelessness while guiding Denver through the highest per capita influx of migrants in the country. I worked closely with the Mayor’s Office to develop communication strategies, foster cross-sector partnerships, and align resources to achieve equitable, data-informed outcomes.My work also included engaging with elected officials, advocates, and community members to build support for lasting solutions. I’m passionate about reshaping public perceptions around homelessness and centering the voices of those with lived experience in all aspects of policy and program design.In 2020, I coauthored a book on homelessness.
