About Jamie Parker
I am a seasoned Leader with an established history as a developer of Leaders. My career has led me through nearly every aspect of Plant Manufacturing: operations, maintenance, projects, health and safety, process safety, reliability and turnarounds. After my 31 year refining career I am honored Honeywell has entrusted their reliability, outage and maintenance groups to me at their Orange Site. I look forward to developing with my new team. My unique experience has taught me that my professional values boils down to the following: • Don’t bother with who gets credit because Team success is the goal • Stay calm while fighting fires • Leaders lead from any position in the organization • Delivering results is the only measure of success I have held various positions during my career: process operator, console operator, health and safety representative, process safety coordinator, operations maintenance coordinator, operations team lead, performance coach, maintenance team lead, maintenance manager and currently Sr Manager, Reliability, Outages and Maintenance. Along with various positions I have led several teams during my career: Shift Emergency Response, site behavioral safety process, area safety teams, turnarounds, projects and cultural change. I am a career Emergency Response Team member. I was promoted to a shift team officer in 1998 and served the team and site as a leader in various roles over my career: Shift Lieutenant, Shift Captain, Shift Battalion Chief, Fire Captain, HazMat Captain, Sr. Fire Captain, Sr. Fire/HazMat Captain, Executive Board Secretary, Executive Board Vice Chairman and Instructor.
