Audit Director and former Chief Financial Officer, Director of Accounting, and prior Auditor with more than fifteen years of experience preparing financial statements and auditing privately held companies in various industries including banking, insurance, member and professional services, education, and manufacturing. Experience also includes auditing 401(k), 403(b), and Employee Stock Ownership Retirement Plans. Also have been responsible for ensuring all financial statements are complete, accurate, and are in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles. Acted as one of the primary liaisons between the organization and external auditors, and was responsible for coordinating and managing the various audits that were completed annually. Accounting related competencies include financial reporting, internal control analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and compliance testing. Technically proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Prophix, Great Plains, Blackline, Quickbooks, Caseware and ProFX Engagement. Earned a Bachelor’s Degree from Bryant University and a Master’s Degree from Salve Regina University.
