Data Solutions, Digital Services and Solutions, Care EnablementPrimary project (2023): Clinic Predictive Maintenance data science- Evaluated various features with the goal of improving model precision. The five new features that were added are in the top 10% of selected features for modeling- Participated in rewrite of entire feature generation and training pipeline that led to a significant decrease in data preparation, a 75% decrease in time to train model, a 10% increase in precision, and a 57% increase in recall for the general model- Re-designed repair reason submodel(s) by replacing 23 existing submodels with one multi-label classification model. This resulted in a 3% increase in precision and a 30% increase in recall for the 4 most important submodels- Implemented linting and formatting in pre-commit- Created data schema requirements with in-code validation and unit tests (using pytest)- Implemented MLflow metrics in Azure ML Studio to allow all data scientists to more easily compare various model results- Researched and trained various oversampling techniques, and implemented various configurations using hydra.Other projects/responsibilities- Volunteered to participate in clean coding group, which helps identify best practices and internal requirements for data science and coding- Created and presented MLflow training for DS team- NxStage and Home HHD SME. Delivered presentation to the team describing NxStage products and network, and comparing HHD and PD- Participated in machine clock analysis- Evaluated available NxStage data to identify information that will need to be anonymized to ensure data privacy requirements.
