Provide strategic leadership and oversight of all projects and activities for the US Medical Affairs, Operations, and Medical Communications functions and to provide experienced leadership to the Field Medical team.• Develop and execute US Medical strategy and tactical plan and work in close collaboration and alignment with other internal stakeholders, including R&D, Regulatory, Market Access, HEOR, Marketing, Commercial teams. • Lead and oversee peer-to-peer relationships with the external healthcare community, including National/Regional Key Opinion Leaders, payers, key institutions, and societies for scientific exchange.• Maintain deep scientific and medical knowledge of Orphalan’s relevant therapeutic/disease areas as well as an understanding of patient and physician interactions and clinical decision-making and impact.• Present scientific/medical materials to diverse audiences (such as physicians, pharmacists, and other key stakeholders) as needed.• Spearhead the creation and dissemination of key medical deliverables – such as medical information responses, slide decks, data generation and data dissemination plan/publications, educational curriculum/materials – used to support internal/external interactions.• Lead and oversee US Medical Advisory Boards, scientific symposia, and CME programs.• Provide effective day-to-day oversight, direction, and leadership to the US Field Medical team and ensure proper alignment of field medical activities/goals with corporate business goals. • Monitor metrics, competitive intelligence, field insights• Facilitate comprehensive medical congress/conference coverage as well as pertinent, timely, accurate and scientifically balanced feedback from meetings attended.• Drive and manage Medical Affairs projects as needed, exhibiting a problem-solving approach, assessment and coordination of resources, management of timelines, budgets and vendors.
