Working in the Asset Operations team, ensuring the department runs smoothly and efficiently, liaising with staff across multiple locations and suppliers, providing safety advice, administrative support functions and ensuring we follow our processes to record and monitor health and safety. Key responsibilities include: Responsibility for the introduction and production of any required health and safety frameworks, policies and procedures. Ensuring the business is kept up to date with UK SHE governance and legislation. Monitoring and recording health and safety activity in the business, ensuring that routine reporting is accurately produced. Ensuring that health and safety checks are completed in line with the company’s policies and procedures. Producing and delivering health and safety related documentation, e.g. risk assessments, audit reports and tool box talks. Ensuring health and safety related meetings are coordinated throughout the business, engaging with Senior Leaders to maintain oversight in this area. Ensuring health and safety training is delivered on time. Performing routine safety walks and being a visible member of the team offering health and safety advice as required. Organising and supporting the internal audit process and perform audits of external 3rd party vendors. Supporting ad-hoc projects and operational processes.
