About Jamie Giambrone
Jamie is the co-founder and co-owner of Element Media, Inc- a custom publishing firm capable of all aspects of publication, from media sales to project management to photography, graphic design, writing, and editing. He is responsible for the production of Element Media in which he works closely with designers, writers, and photographers to ensure the company\'s publications embrace the cutting edge of industry trends; in addition, Jamie serves as head of operations for Element Media in which he manages the company\'s staff and the overall day-to-day activities of the business. In January 2006, Element Media launched its flagship publication,\"Pacific Edge Magazine.\" Since launching \"Pacific Edge Magazine,\" Element Media has been contracted to publish several magazines throughout Hawai\'i and the continental United States. These publications include \"Life & Style\" magazine for the Ko Olina Resort and Marina and the annual \"Chamber of Commerce of Hawai\'i Business Networking Directory.\" The latest addition to the Element Media family is \"Las Vegas Bound,\" the quarterly in-flight magazine for Vacations-Hawaii charters, which the company began publishing in mid-2009. In addition to the several publications produced by Element Media, Jamie oversees approximately 35 events held per year by \"Pacific Edge Magazine,\" including Green Drinks, The Business of Networking with Social Wahines, and the annual Pacific Edge Magazine Awards Gala. Prior to founding Element Media, Jamie served as an officer in the Signals Corps of the United States Army and achieved the rank of Captain. Jamie was responsible for providing and managing communications and information systems support for command and control. Today, he still serves as a Major with the 303rd Maneuver Enhancement Brigade, U.S. Army Reserves. Jamie is active within his community, serving several organizations such as the President of the Board of Directors for the Hale Pono branch for the Boys and Girls Club in Ewa Beach.
