After initially leading the North East Link Project Integration team, my role was expanded following the 2019 Dept/VicRoads merge to also lead integration of the West Gate Tunnel Project. My Project Integration team is responsible for all aspects of client requirements and transport network integration assurance. My team also manage the delivery of DTP services to the projects. My role changed in 2025 to focus on the North East Link with the East and West packages being awarded and to allow more emphasis by others on the forthcoming opening of West Gate Tunnel.

As a senior engineering leader with 30 years experience, including 23 years at the Dept of Transport / VicRoads, 2½ years at Aurecon (Connell Wagner) and 4 years at the City of Melbourne, Jamie has developed highly specialised capabilities in Project Integration, Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) and Road Asset Management supported by strong leadership and Road Safety skills.Jamie has collaborated with Transurban, CPB and Lendlease in the implementation of ITS for the CityLink Tulla Widening Project and is partnering with the Major Road Transport Authority to integrate the North East Link and West Gate Tunnel projects into Victoria\'s transport network.Jamie has also collaborated with Victoria\'s Department of Treasury & Finance, Department of Premier & Cabinet and Department of Economic Development, Jobs, Transport & Resources to implement a series of maintenance reforms. This included a new process for determining maintenance classifications, predictive network scenario modelling using dTIMS and a state-wide maintenance procurement strategy.When leading the development and prioritisation of VicRoads\' Asset Management Program, Jamie was instrumental in its successful expansion from $380 million to $550 million. This program included all on road assets including pavements, structures, roadside, electrical and ITS assets.In other roles Jamie has- led teams of up to 25 people- developed the risk based BCR method for prioritisation of run-off-road road safety projects- implemented the HDM-4 pavement analysis tool- led VicRoads research projects relating to pavement asset management- integrated program, contract and pavement management systems- testified as an expert witness
